  1. 1. Staying in a comfortable job It's easy to get comfortable in a job you enjoy, or even seek out a position that aligns with your interests. For example, Osborn and Morris write in their book, a ski instructor who loves to ski or a bartender who loves to meet new people and be social. "All of these individuals are getting some subset of their needs met," they write. "But is it enough?" Osborn and Morris encourage you to use your learned skills to find interests outside of your comfort zone. "Building wealth is a contact sport. It requires movement, action, and impact. Be purposeful and build a network that takes you closer to your goals," they write. 2. Avoiding risk Fear is a universal feeling. Once you realize you're not alone in that feeling, "ask yourself, 'What is truly at risk?'" Osborn and Morris write. Remember, if it's a worthwhile endeavor, there will almost certainly be some sort of risk involved. "We're not going to sugarcoat this — building wealth involves taking risks," they write. "But it's overinflated compared to the risk of doing nothing. The biggest risk in life is not taking one." 3. Viewing wealth negatively We're all brought up around different attitudes about money, whether that's the idea that wealth is glamourous and unattainable, or that it's a sign of greed and corruption. Your ability to build wealth effectively hinges on these beliefs, Osborn and Morris said. "Celebrate your pursuit of wealth and look at it as a pathway to freedom. And, steer clear from those who think money is a dirty word," they write. 4. Giving up As with any challenge in life, you'll experience ups and downs in your pursuit of wealth. Those people who make it to the top are the ones who never quit. Osborn and Morris explain: "When you face a setback, you have a choice: You can jump ship by focusing on the sting of the loss or stay the course and reap the value of the lesson. "Just remember: You had courage before the loss, and now you have the power of more experience and information as you move forward." 5. Holding on to toxic friendships "How many people are best friends with their kindergarten buddies? Not many. Yet how many folks have a friend they won't cut loose, even though they are a negative influence?" Osborn and Morris ask these questions to emphasize that you have total control over who you surround yourself with. Ultimately, they say, don't get trapped in a "weak social circle." If you do find yourself there, be sensible enough to walk away. 6. Victimizing yourself Bad things happen every day and at times it may even feel like you're taking more hits than others. Did you lose money on your investment? Run your new business into the ground? That's going to be difficult to get through, but it's no excuse to victimize yourself, Osborn and Morris explain. "Victimhood leads to blame, apathy, and general malaise. It's hard to move forward with a positive vision when you are locked into an event from the past. Negativity tends to lead to inertia and despondence. Don't let a bad occurrence hold you back," they write. 7. Thinking you know it all Osborn and Morris quote Stephen Hawking to illustrate this point: "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it's the illusion of knowledge." Thus, thinking you know all there is to know — the "expert syndrome," as they call it — hinders teachability and growth. In other words: We all, always, have something to learn.
  2. Investing, as with anything in life, benefits from an early start. The earlier you begin planning for retirement, the greater your potential return on investment. This holds true for both civilians and military members. By taking advantage of your youth, you can get a head start on saving for your future. However, if you’re not sure about the benefits of early investing, here are five reasons why it’s best to start sooner than later. 1. Time allows you to take risks Typically, when it comes to investing, ventures that are more volatile yield the highest return on investment. Investors, who have the time to recover if something were to go wrong, have the opportunity to make riskier moves. Those who begin to invest late in life are often inherently more cautious with how they invest their money. 2. Compound interest really makes a difference Essentially, compound interest is the interest earned on interest. By continuously reinvesting your earnings, you are exponentially increasing your return on investment. Savvy investors understand the benefits of investing early and taking advantage of the potential gains from compound interest. To help you understand how time and compound interest are related, here’s an example: Twenty-five year old Madison invests $2,000 annually over 10 years in her company’s 401(k), with an average growth of 10 percent. When she retires, at the age of 65, her investment would have grown to $556,197. On the other hand consider Cooper, age 34, who invests $2,000 annually over 30 years into his 401(k). At age 65, Cooper who has invested three times as much as Madison, will have $328,988 in his retirement account. In this example, Madison, who began investing early and gave her money time to earn compound interest has $225,000 more than Cooper to spend during her retirement. 3. Your spending habits will improve Investing early allows you to develop disciplined spending habits by focusing on your budget and cutting expenses when needed. The goal here is to earn money by saving money. This is impossible with poor spending habits and a life full of impulse buying. Through early investment, the lessons learned will pay off in the long run, especially, when you have even more capital to work with and restraint is needed. 4. Be a step ahead of everyone else The early bird gets the worm is an idiom worth adhering to. The earlier you begin investing, the better your personal financial situation will be down the line. Compared to your counterparts, who may have chosen to invest later in life, over time you will be able to afford things that others can’t. Additionally, at some point your finances may become unstable, but by investing early you’ll be prepared to face such hardships. 5. Your quality of life will improve Military members who invest in retirement plans such as a Thrift Savings Plan, 401(k) or Roth IRA are taking steps toward an improved quality of life. Early investment will reduce the risk that you’ll be forced to make reckless choices to secure a stable retirement.
  3. A very simple but confusing puzzle. A lady buys goods worth rs.200 from a shop. (shopkeeper selling the goods with zero profit). The lady gives him 1000 rs note. The shopkeeper gets the change from the next shop and keeps 200 for himself and returns rs.800 to d lady. Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with the 1000 Rs note saying "duplicate" and takes his money back. "How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face ?" A. 200 B. 800 C. 1200 D. 1800 E. 2000 F. 1600 G. 1000 Simple yet confusing n challenging.

    Car Mania

Lamborghini Cars Lamborghini is an Italian car manufacturer that was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963 with the objective of competing with Ferrari. Lamborghini gained international acclaim in the 60’s for the Muira and after hard times starting from the mid 1970’s to filing for bankruptcy and three changes in ownership, Lamborghini came under Chrysler 1987. The company was eventually sold to Audi in 1998 and in the start of this century it eventually started to witness success under Volkswagen. 2016 Lamborghini Urus It’s almost confirmed thatLamborghini would bring their Urus SUV to India. Stated for an international launch in 2016, the Urus was first shown at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year and the model is the spiritual successor to the LM002 4x4 from 1986. As is the case with most Lamborghini names, the name Urus comes from a very large and powerful wild bull that was common in central Asia and Europe in the middle-ages. Lamborghini is aware of the expectations from the SUV and the manufacturer promises that the Urus will set a new performance benchmark for SUVs. "The Urus is the most extreme interpretation of the SUV idea," said Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. The SUV will be priced at around 1.5crore and like the Aventador, the Urus uses carbon fibre for its chassis and body. DESIGN AND INTERIORS In terms of styling the Urus has a very angular design which echoes the canned Estoque saloon concept.Lamborghini bosses say it will be the world’s fastest-accelerating and best-handling SUV. The SUV is expected to be 4.99 meters long, 1.66 metres high and the design is stunning with a typical Lamborghini nose mounted high and razor sharp lines similar to those on the Aventador. The wheel arches are typical of Lambo and the massive haunches make this car an eyeball magnet. The 24-inch wheels are forged from matte-finish aluminium and are stunning. The Urus will use innovative and adaptive aerodynamics with variable ride height and a height-adjustable front spoiler and the aero balance of the Lamborghini Urus can even be adjusted to suit the prevailing driving conditions. ENGINE AND RIDE No detailed technical information is yet known but the Urus could use a modified version of the VW Group’s new 4-litre twin-turbo V8 or a 6-litre W12. Lamborghini is targeting a 100kmph time of around four seconds with a top speed of around 300kmph. The chassis could be shared with the Audi’s variable large car four-wheel-drive MLB platform and is likely to make heavy use of torque vectoring. The SUV will have height adjustable suspension that lowers at high speed. Lamborghini’s head of development, Maurizio Reggiani has said that the platform of the Urus is being developed within the VW group to underpin the next generation of Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7 and Bentley’s SUV. Regarding the mechanicals, Reggiani said, ‘We looked at having the gearbox in the rear for ideal weight distribution but now I think we will end up with a conventional drivetrain with engine, gearbox, centre differential and real differential, as it is lighter and we can share components across the group.’ Revealing more details on the SUV Reggiani further added, ‘We will use forged composite for the body panels, the structure and for many of the aesthetic parts in this car. No one else in the group will have this material and it saves us a lot of weight, especially in the interior because we don’t have to cover it in leather, as it looks really cool anyway!’ said Reggiani.

  12. Q1. Tell me about yourself BEST ANSWER: Start with the present and tell why you are well qualified for the position. Remember that the key to all-successful interviewing is to match your qualifications to what the interviewer is looking for. In other words you must sell what the buyer is buying. This is the single most important strategy in job hunting. Q2. What are your greatest strengths? BEST ANSWER: You know that your key strategy is to first uncover your interviewer's greatest wants and needs before you answer questions. And from Question 1, you know how to do this. Q3. What are your greatest weaknesses? PASSABLE ANSWER: Disguise a strength as a weakness. Example: “I sometimes push my people too hard. I like to work with a sense of urgency and everyone is not always on the same wavelength.” Drawback: This strategy is better than admitting a flaw, but it's so widely used, it is transparent to any experienced interviewer. BEST ANSWER: (and another reason it's so important to get a thorough description of your interviewer's needs before you answer questions): Assure the interviewer that you can think of nothing that would stand in the way of your performing in this position with excellence. Then, quickly review you strongest qualifications. Q4 Tell me about something you did – or failed to do – that you now feel a little ashamed of. BEST ANSWER: As with faults and weaknesses, never confess a regret. But don’t seem as if you’re stonewalling either. Best strategy: Say you harbor no regrets, then add a principle or habit you practice regularly for healthy human relations. Q5. Why are you leaving (or did you leave) this position? BEST ANSWER: (If you have a job presently) If you’re not yet 100% committed to leaving your present post, don’t be afraid to say so. Since you have a job, you are in a stronger position than someone who does not. But don’t be coy either. State honestly what you’d be hoping to find in a new spot. Of course, as stated often before, you answer will all the stronger if you have already uncovered what this position is all about and you match your desires to it. If you do not presently have a job.) Never lie about having been fired. It’s unethical – and too easily checked. But do try to deflect the reason from you personally. If your firing was the result of a takeover, merger, division wide layoff, etc., so much the better. Q6. The “Silent Treatment” BEST ANSWER: Like a primitive tribal mask, the Silent Treatment loses all it power to frighten you once you refuse to be intimidated. If your interviewer pulls it, keep quiet yourself for a while and then ask, with sincere politeness and not a trace of sarcasm, “Is there anything else I can fill in on that point?” That’s all there is to it. Q7. Why should I hire you? BEST ANSWER: By now you can see how critical it is to apply the overall strategy of uncovering the employer’s needs before you answer questions. If you know the employer’s greatest needs and desires, this question will give you a big leg up over other candidates because you will give him better reasons for hiring you than anyone else is likely to…reasons tied directly to his needs. Q8. Aren’t you overqualified for this position? BEST ANSWER: As with any objection, don’t view this as a sign of imminent defeat. It’s an invitation to teach the interviewer a new way to think about this situation, seeing advantages instead of drawbacks. Q9. Where do you see yourself five years from now? BEST ANSWER: Reassure your interviewer that you’re looking to make a long-term commitment…that this position entails exactly what you’re looking to do and what you do extremely well. As for your future, you believe that if you perform each job at hand with excellence, future opportunities will take care of themselves. Q10. Describe your ideal company, location and job BEST ANSWER: The only right answer is to describe what this company is offering, being sure to make your answer believable with specific reasons, stated with sincerity, why each quality represented by this opportunity is attractive to you. Q11. Why do you want to work at our company? BEST ANSWER: This question is your opportunity to hit the ball out of the park, thanks to the in-depth research you should do before any interview. Best sources for researching your target company: annual reports, the corporate newsletter, contacts you know at the company or its suppliers, advertisements, articles about the company in the trade press. Q12. What are your career options right now? BEST ANSWER: Prepare for this question by thinking of how you can position yourself as a desired commodity. If you are still working, describe the possibilities at your present firm and why, though you’re greatly appreciated there, you’re looking for something more (challenge, money, responsibility, etc.). Also mention that you’re seriously exploring opportunities with one or two other firms. Q13. Why have you been out of work so long? BEST ANSWER: You want to emphasize factors which have prolonged your job search by your own choice. Example: “After my job was terminated, I made a conscious decision not to jump on the first opportunities to come along. In my life, I’ve found out that you can always turn a negative into a positive IF you try hard enough. This is what I determined to do. I decided to take whatever time I needed to think through what I do best, what I most want to do, where I’d like to do it…and then identify those companies that could offer such an opportunity.” Q14. Tell me honestly about the strong points and weak points of your boss (company, management team, etc.)… BEST ANSWER: Remember the rule: Never be negative. Stress only the good points, no matter how charmingly you’re invited to be critical. Your interviewer doesn’t care a whit about your previous boss. He wants to find out how loyal and positive you are, and whether you’ll criticize him behind his back if pressed to do so by someone in this own company. This question is your opportunity to demonstrate your loyalty to those you work with. Q15. What good books have you read lately? BEST ANSWER: Unless you’re up for a position in academia or as book critic for The New York Times, you’re not expected to be a literary lion. But it wouldn’t hurt to have read a handful of the most recent and influential books in your profession and on management. Q16. Tell me about a situation when your work was criticized. BEST ANSWER: Begin by emphasizing the extremely positive feedback you’ve gotten throughout your career and (if it’s true) that your performance reviews have been uniformly excellent. Q17. What are your outside interests? BEST ANSWER: Try to gauge how this company’s culture would look upon your favorite outside activities and be guided accordingly. Q18. The “Fatal Flaw” question BEST ANSWER: As every master salesperson knows, you will encounter objections (whether stated or merely thought) in every sale. They’re part and parcel of the buyer’s anxiety. The key is not to exacerbate the buyer’s anxiety but diminish it. Q19. How do you feel about reporting to a younger person (minority, woman, etc)? BEST ANSWER: You greatly admire a company that hires and promotes on merit alone and you couldn’t agree more with that philosophy. The age (gender, race, etc.) of the person you report to would certainly make no difference to you. Q20. On confidential matters… BEST ANSWER: Your interviewer may press you for this information for two reasons. First, many companies use interviews to research the competition. It’s a perfect set-up. Here in their own lair, is an insider from the enemy camp who can reveal prized information on the competition’s plans, research, financial condition, etc. Second, the company may be testing your integrity to see if you can be cajoled or bullied into revealing confidential data. Q21. Would you lie for the company? BEST ANSWER: Try to avoid choosing between two values, giving a positive statement which covers all bases instead. Q22. Looking back, what would you do differently in your life? BEST ANSWER: Indicate that you are a happy, fulfilled, optimistic person and that, in general, you wouldn’t change a thing. Q23. Could you have done better in your last job? BEST ANSWER: Again never be negative. Example: “I suppose with the benefit of hindsight you can always find things to do better, of course, but off the top of my head, I can’t think of anything of major consequence.” Q24. Can you work under pressure? BEST ANSWER: Absolutely…(then prove it with a vivid example or two of a goal or project accomplished under severe pressure.) Q25. What makes you angry? BEST ANSWER: Give an answer that’s suited to both your personality and the management style of the firm. Here, the homework you’ve done about the company and its style can help in your choice of words. Q26. Why aren’t you earning more money at this stage of your career? BEST ANSWER: You like to make money, but other factors are even more important. Q27. Who has inspired you in your life and why? BEST ANSWER: Have a few heroes in mind, from your mental “Board of Directors” – Leaders in your industry, from history or anyone else who has been your mentor. Q28. What was the toughest decision you ever had to make? BEST ANSWER: Be prepared with a good example, explaining why the decision was difficult…the process you followed in reaching it…the courageous or effective way you carried it out…and the beneficial results. Q29. Tell me about the most boring job you’ve ever had BEST ANSWER: You have never allowed yourself to grow bored with a job and you can’t understand it when others let themselves fall into that rut. Q30. Have you been absent from work more than a few days in any previous position? BEST ANSWER: If you have had no problem, emphasize your excellent and consistent attendance record throughout your career. Also describe how important you believe such consistent attendance is for a key executive…why it’s up to you to set an example of dedication…and why there’s just no substitute for being there with your people to keep the operation running smoothly, answer questions and handle problems and crises as they arise. Q31. What changes would you make if you came on board? BEST ANSWER: You, of course, will want to take a good hard look at everything the company is doing before making any recommendations. Q32. I’m concerned that you don’t have as much experience as we’d like in… BEST ANSWER: This question is related to “The Fatal Flaw” (Question 18), but here the concern is not that you are totally missing some qualifications, such as CPA certification, but rather that your experience is light in one area. Before going into any interview, try to identify the weakest aspects of your candidacy from this company’s point of view. Then prepare the best answer you possible can to shore up your defenses.
